Dirty Air In – Clean Air Out

  1. Air is pulled through the dirty air intake by the Centrifugal Fan

  2. Larger dust particles drop through the Drop-Out Box and are separated from the air stream.

  3. Dust and fumes are trapped on the filters forming a cake on the surface as air passes through the filter house.

  4. Reverse pulse filter cleaning system cleans the filters.

  5. Dust particles are discharged from the machine via the augers and rotary valves.

  6. The velocity probe monitors air speed and turns the centrifugal fan up, or down to maintain air volume.

  7. Clean air exhausts from the machine with a filtration efficiency of 99.99% at 0.067 micron.

First, a high-performance centrifugal fan creates negative pressure and pulls contaminated air through the dirty air intake. By controlling airflow at the source, the system prevents dust from escaping into the workplace or surrounding environment.

Primary Separation – Drop-Out Box

Next, the air stream enters the drop-out box, where larger and heavier dust particles immediately fall out of suspension. Because gravity removes this material early, the system reduces the load on the filters. In turn, this extends filter life and stabilises airflow.

High-Efficiency Filtration

After primary separation, finer dust particles and fumes move into the filter housing. Here, the filters capture dust on the surface of the media while allowing clean air to pass through. Over time, a dust cake forms, which actually improves filtration efficiency. Consequently, the system captures fine particulate matter such as silica and metal dusts more effectively.

Automatic Reverse Pulse Cleaning

Meanwhile, the reverse pulse filter cleaning system keeps the filters operating at peak performance. Short bursts of compressed air dislodge the dust cake without stopping operation. As a result, the dust collector maintains airflow while reducing manual maintenance and downtime.

Controlled Dust Discharge

Once the filters release the dust, it falls into the hopper below. From there, augers and rotary valves continuously discharge material from the system. This controlled process prevents air leakage while allowing dust to transfer safely to bins, bulk bags, or downstream handling equipment.

Intelligent Airflow Control

At the same time, a velocity probe constantly monitors air speed within the ducting. When airflow conditions change, the system automatically adjusts the centrifugal fan speed. Therefore, the dust collector maintains the correct air volume, improves energy efficiency, and ensures consistent dust capture.

Clean Air Exhaust
