Today, on Remembrance Day, Grydale observes a minute of silence that the diggers of the past solemnly observe. The silence marks 107 years since the guns across Europe stopped echoing in 1918. It is a silence that belongs to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the hope we never need to return to war again.
Every year, we remember every Australian who made extraordinary sacrifices, and we grieve with their families and loved ones.
We thank not only all who have served, but also those who are serving now.
That is the heart of the pledge we hand from one generation to the next at Grydale and our community.
